Wynhol Farm Boarding Kennels Terms and Conditions

1. Payment Terms

Full payment is required 1 calendar month before the booking start date.

Amendments can be made free of charge up until 1 calendar month before the booking start date, depending on availability.

Reductions to bookings will not affect the price if made within 1 month prior to the booking start date.

Extensions will be billed as normal and only if available.

Failure to pay or make contact will result in the cancellation of your booking and the loss of your payment.

2. Cancellation Policy

Cancellations made within one month of the booked dates will receive a 50% refund as a credit towards your next booking.

No discounts will be provided for late arrivals or early departures.

Failure to notify us of a cancellation will result in a charge equivalent to 100% of the original fee.

Late departures will incur a fee equal to the full daily rate per day, plus 50%.

We reserve the right to cancel any bookings for any reason at any time.

3. Health and Safety Requirements

Ensuring the health and safety of all pets in our care is our top priority. Therefore, we require that all pets have up-to-date vaccinations. You can confirm this by presenting vaccination records at drop-off.

4. Vaccination Requirements

  • Parvovirus
  • Canine Distemper
  • Canine Hepatitis
  • Leptospirosis (L4)

Although the kennel cough vaccination is not compulsory, it is strongly recommended.

  • Infectious Enteritis
  • Feline Herpes Virus
  • Feline Calicivirus

All vaccinations must be administered by a qualified veterinarian at least two weeks prior to boarding.

Regular preventive treatments for fleas, ticks, and worms are also expected.

5. Parasite Management

In the event that any signs of parasites are detected, affected pets will receive immediate treatment from either your chosen veterinarian (if within a 20-minute drive) or our preferred veterinary service provider, Vale Vets, using prescribed medications. Owners will be responsible for any associated costs related to parasite treatment.

Please note that, due to GDPR regulations, explicit consent from owners is required for veterinarians to share medical information. Therefore, please ensure your veterinarian is authorised to discuss relevant details with us and our registered vet.

6. Veterinary Care & Emergencies

If your pet becomes unwell during their stay, we will seek veterinary attention from Vale Vets or your nominated vet (if practical).

The first £100 of any veterinary care costs (excluding parasite treatment) is covered and included in the booking price. Any costs beyond this will be the responsibility of the pet owner.

7. Behaviour and Temperament

We reserve the right to refuse entry to any pet showing aggressive, destructive, or unmanageable behaviour.

If a pet poses a risk to the safety or welfare of others, we may request that the animal be collected immediately.

8. Check-In and Check-Out Times

Standard check-in and check-out times are as follows:

Monday to Sunday including bank holidays: Between 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Please note that check-ins and check-outs outside of these hours are not available unless arranged in advance and confirmed by us.

Late checkouts may incur charges as outlined in our cancellation policy.

9. Belongings

Owners are welcome to bring personal items such as bedding, toys, or treats. However, we cannot be held responsible for any items that are lost, damaged, or soiled during your pet’s stay.
